A tanker truck carrying 65,000 pounds of milk overturned Thursday morning on Interstate 89 in Sutton. State police said the driver lost control, sliding off the shoulder and rolling the truck onto its left side. The crash led to the rupture of the truck’s tank, but crews don’t know yet how much milk actually spilled. The crash happened just after 3:30 a.m. on the southbound side of I-89, between exits 11 and 10. Police reduced traffic to one lane, and troopers said it could be several hours before crews finish cleaning up the scene.
