1 killed, 10 hurt in fiery crash

A Kissimmee man died early Sunday in a fiery four-vehicle crash at one of Orange County’s busier intersections. Authorities with the Florida Highway Patrol said Edgardo Muniz was driving his Jeep Wrangler at John Young Parkway and Sand Lake Road, when a big rig failed to stop in time and struck the rear of the vehicle. Muniz’s vehicle struck a vehicle in front of him, causing the Jeep and the big rig to catch fire. Muniz died at the scene of the crash.
