A Nashville boy is still recovering in the hospital after he was nearly killed by a train Sunday when his foot got stuck while walking on the tracks. Police say 11-year-old Kevon Mayberry was hit around 8 p.m. Sunday while walking down the train tracks with three friends at 16th Avenue North. The child said he saw a train coming but thought he had enough time to cross the tracks. While crossing the tracks, his foot got stuck and the train struck his ankle.
