A jury recently decided the owner of Kendrick Farms in Conecuh County should pay $4 million in damages to a former employee who was permanently injured on the job. The decision came more than five years after a degloving accident, in which the skin was pulled off the genitals of Gerald Lymon while he was working with a tractor driven post hole digger. The case, filed in Mobile County Circuit Court in August 2010, named Wylie Joe Kendrick, Kendrick Farms and Kendrick Logging LLC as defendants.
