Accident Lodges Pick-up Truck Under Semi

Two lanes have reopened on westbound I-4 after an accident involving a Publix semi-truck and a pick-up truck. The crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. near Thonotosassa Road. All lanes were blocked as crews worked to dislodge the truck from underneath the middle of the semi, and then tow both vehicles from the scene. Two lanes are now getting by. Officials have not yet released the conditions of those involved in the crash, but a helicopter did arrive to transport at least one person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
