4 Killed, 1 Injured In Two-Vehicle Accident

Four people were killed and another was sent to a hospital with injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Weld County on Sunday night. The accident involving a Dodge pickup and a Honda SUV happened at 9:45 p.m. and closed Highway 85 at Weld County Road 48 south of La Salle, the Colorado State Patrol said. The male drivers of both vehicles and two juveniles in the Honda were killed. An adult female passenger in the Honda was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The investigation lasted until 2:30 a.m. when both roads were reopened.
