Five people were taken to hospitals following a three-vehicle crash on the Bishop Ford Freeway Sunday morning on the Far South Side, officials said. It happened at 11:23 a.m. in the northbound lanes near 119th Street, said an Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper. One of the three vehicles involved was a white SUV which flipped and wound up on Doty Avenue east of the freeway, the trooper said. A Chicago Fire Department chief said five people were taken to at least two different hospitals but had no further details.
