Deputy Pulls Woman To Safety From Rollover Wreck

Clallam County Sheriff’s Office officials are crediting a quick-thinking deputy with saving an injured driver from a would-be car fire on Sunday. Sheriff’s office officials say deputy Paul Federline was giving a citizen a ride from Port Angeles to Sequim Sunday evening when he came across a rollover crash near the Port Angeles Walmart.Federline pulled over and found a woman trapped inside the heavily-damaged SUV. The woman, who was the only person in the vehicle, was lying on her side against the passenger door.
