Wrong-Way Driver On Michigan Interstate Causes Head-On Collision

A Kawkawlin resident is dead after a driver traveling the wrong way on I-75 Sunday morning caused a head-on collision. A black Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-75 about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday. A white Chevrolet Astro was traveling northbound on I-75 at the same time, causing a head-on collision, police said. The driver from the Impala, a Saginaw resident, was transported to a local hospital, where the driver is listed in stable condition, police said.
The driver of the Astro, Barry Campbell, was pronounced dead at the scene.
