Dairy Products, Litter Cargo Spilled After Semis Collide

Traffic is flowing again on Highway 60 going westbound after emergency crews in Sikeston cleaned up a lot of dairy products and kitty litter that were spilled on the road. According to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, a tractor trailer pulled out onto Highway 60 just outside of Sikeston, and was rear ended by another semi. One trailer was carrying dairy products like milk, cottage cheese and sour cream. The other was hauling kitty litter. Sikeston DPS reports no one was seriously injured. However, one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
