1 Dead, 5 Injured In School Bus Wreck On Houston Highway

Authorities say one person is dead and at least five are hurt after a school bus overturned on a highway in Houston. Houston Fire Department spokesman Jay Evans confirmed one fatality at the scene of the accident Tuesday morning. Evans provided no information about that person. A Houston Independent School District statement says the bus driver and four students have been taken to hospitals. District officials had no information on the conditions of the injured. The bus was bound for Furr High School.
