At least four people, including a child, were killed Sunday afternoon when a passenger van and two other vehicles were involved in a crash in Hyattsville, Maryland, authorities said. At least 14 other people — eight adults and six children — were seriously injured, some with life-threatening injuries, Mark Brady, a Prince George’s County fire spokesman, who called the accident "horrific." Four of the adults and four of the children were in critical condition, he said. Prince George’s Fire Chief Marc Bashoor told reporters that a pickup truck collided with another vehicle before speeding down the road on fire.
