What would a father do to help his children? Carlo Pettigrew, a father of two, proved on Wednesday he’d do anything, including run half a mile just moments after flipping his car while speeding to get home. Pettigrew thought his children were stuck inside their Prince George’s County town home when it caught fire. Pettigrew was at a parent-teacher conference Wednesday morning, His wife was out and his two kids, Corbin, 13, and Carson, 7, were at home. Corbin says that at around 10:30, she had just finished getting dressed when she heard the smoke detectors.
