A flash flood warning was issued Saturday afternoon in the Las Vegas valley. The flash flood warning was originally set to go through 4:15 p.m. but was extended to 6:30 p.m. It was lifted around 6:10 p.m. Las Vegas set a record for rainfall April 9 with a total of 0.81 inches. The old record was 0.17 in 1943. During the storm, Nevada Highway Patrol said troopers responded to 127 crashes, 43 injury incident, 77 with property damage and 7 hit-and-runs.
