Spilled Milk: Tanker Overturns On Interstate On-Ramp

 Tuesday, April 12, 2016

 The Washington Post

A tractor trailer spilled about 46,000 pounds of milk onto a highway outside Richmond, Va., following a crash. For perspective, that’s roughly enough milk to roughly fill two Olympic-sized swimming pools. (And yes, you math/science experts — we realize milk is heavier than water and less voluminous. Just trying to give some sense of size for the math challenged.) Now, back to the story… No one was seriously injured in the incident, but the spill caused traffic delays for several hours.
