Speeding is the second leading cause of car crashes in America, but its especially dangerous in some California cities.
Auto Insurance Center studied the average speed of more than 12,000 fatal car crashes across the country to find out which cities drivers are putting the pedal to the metal before colliding with other cars or smashing into roadside objects.
The car insurance comparison sites findings showed that California dominated the list of cities with the highest average speed in fatal crashes. In fact, 11 of the top 20 cities are in the Golden State.
