Fatal Multi-Car Crash On Wantagh State Parkway, Long Island

Two people are dead and two others are injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Nassau County. It happened just before midnight on the southbound side of the Wantagh State Parkway between Hempstead Turnpike and where it meets the Southern State Parkway in Wantagh. Preliminary information suggests that there was a fender-bender between two cars. After they crashed, the occupants got out of the car and a woman holding a baby was then struck by a third vehicle, New York State police said.
