One person was killed and 13 people injured in a 10-vehicle crash in the Bloomfield section of Staten Island. The deadly crash occurred around 1:43 p.m. on Sunday at Victory Boulevard and Travis Avenue. The 75-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. Four of the injured were taken to Staten Island Hospital and six were rushed to Richmond Hospital. A female driving a sedan was involved in a minor accident before speeding northbound on Travis Avenue and striking several vehicles waiting at a red light, according to the NYPD.
