A small plane lost control while taking off at Fullerton Airport on Wednesday evening and crashed into three parked planes.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m., authorities said. The single engine Siai Martchetti SF-260 tried to lift off but ended up veering across a runway, slamming into three other planes and then ending up in a hangar. The aircraft sustained major damage, officials reported. The extent of the damage done to the parked planes was not immediately clear. The pilot and his passenger were not injured seriously.
