Hurricane Maria: What We Know, Where It’s Going Next

Hurricane Maria pounded the small island of Dominica with catastrophic winds on Monday night. The storm is charging into the eastern Caribbean threatening islands wrecked by Irma. Maria’s top sustained winds were 160 mph on Tuesday morning.

Hurricane Maria roared through the tiny Caribbean island of Dominica overnight with sustained winds of more than 150 mph, ripping the roof off the residence of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and causing "widespread devastation."
