Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 Auto Liability

Police believe a medical issue caused the driver of a truck to jump a curb Friday and crash into patrons outside a Starbucks in Millcreek, killing a woman and injuring several others. The crash pinned the driver, who was among three who were critically injured. His two children in the car, a 6-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter, sustained minor injuries, said Salt Lake County Sheriff Rosie Rivera. Police identified the woman who died as Joslyn Nicole Spilsbury, 48, of Salt Lake City. She had been sitting at the outdoor table at the coffee shop, 4744 S. Highland Drive, when she was hit, Rivera said.
