At least a dozen tornadoes have touched down across Pennsylvania so far this month. That means this April has featured more tornadoes than any other April in the state’s history, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Matt Steinbugl. Steinbugl said survey crews are still working to confirm another two possible tornadoes in Fulton and Franklin counties from storms on Friday. “We’ve confirmed a few from that event,” he said. “It seems as though we’ll have at least one more.” Those tornadoes came shortly after a total of 9 tornadoes touched down across the state from storms on April 14 into April 15.
