A number of insurers have begun to release their financial results for Q3 2010. The following is a compilation of their announcements: The Allstate Corporation reported financial results for the third quarter of 2010. The insurer’s third-quarter 2010 net income was $367 million, or $0.68 per diluted share, compared to $221 million in the third quarter of 2009, primarily due to lower realized capital losses in 2010 versus 2009.
