
Anthony Levandowski, the engineer at the center of this years corporate espionage trial between Waymo and Uber, has a history of bending the rules when it comes to self-driving cars, the New Yorker reports.
While working at Googles Project Chauffeur, the self-driving car program that would later evolve into Waymo, Levandowski allegedly modified the cars software so it could be taken on routes that were previously off-limits.
