AIC Designation Holders to Be Honored

Sunday, February 29th, 2004 Education & Training

Claim professionals who hold the Insurance Institute of America’s Associate in Claims (AIC) designation will be honored at a complimentary Recognition Breakfast on March 15 at the PLRB/LIRB Crossroads 2004 Claims Conference in Chicago. More than 180 people are expected to attend the breakfast. “The AIC program is challenging,” said IIA’s Director of Claims Education, Donna J. Popow, J.D., CPCU, AIC. “Claims people who complete the program show a commitment to professional development that sets them apart and makes them more skillful at their jobs. We felt that the PLRB/LIRB conference was an ideal place to recognize them for having earned the AIC designation.” Last year, 2,257 people earned the AIC designation, which brings the total of AIC designations conferred since the program’s inception to 35,377.
