Alabama Father, Son Killed In Head-On Crash With Each Other

It was, for Oak Grove High School principal Pam Dennis, a week of twisted metal and grief. First the unthinkable: Two Oak Grove students were killed in a collision with an 18-wheeler near the school, and two more - their siblings - were critically injured. It was a week of searching and praying, consoling and trying to explain the inexplicable to grieving students. And then, five days later, the unthinkable became the unfathomable. Dennis’ own brother Jeff Brasher - a beloved bread deliveryman on the way to Flower’s Bakery in Winfield - collided head-on with a pickup truck being driven by none other than his own son - Dennis’ nephew Austin.
