American Family Insurance to close 14 claim offices

American Family Insurance recently announced it will consolidate the company’s 20 claim offices down to six by August 2012. American family said consolidating the company’s claim operations into fewer but larger offices will improve efficiencies and help control costs for customers. The decision about which office locations to close was based on several factors, including job market, real estate considerations and the ability to grow in a given location, according to American Family.
