It is now estimated that more than 65 percent of 2004 model year cars that were sold in the United States have some form of event data recorder on the vehicle. The issue with this information is that a majority of consumers who purchased these vehicles have no idea that the way they are driving the vehicle is being recorded and saved electronically.
