Bystanders Save Semi Driver From Fiery Accident
Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 Auto LiabilityA 58-year-old truck driver from Illinois was hospitalized after a serious crash on Interstate 44 on Monday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Tzvetan Stefaniachki of Des Plaines, Ill., was driving eastbound on I-44 between Doolittle and Rolla when he went off the right side of the highway about 5:30 p.m. The Doolittle Fire Department says the semi hit a large drainage ditch. The fuel tanks then ruptured and sparked the fire. Bystanders removed the driver from the burning vehicle.
