Climate Change: 4 Cities In The United States That Could Disappear

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 Catastrophe Property

Climate change does not stop being a threat to major cities in the United States. Scientists around the world have already warned that if a series of actions are not taken into account to reduce the burning of fossil fuels by the year 2100, the planet will face a sea level rise between 4.3 and 9.9 meters.

Some forecasts are more extreme than others, but the truth is that NASA, NOAA and research institutes around the world agree that the rise in sea level would make some places disappear by the end of this century.

These are the cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants that are most vulnerable to the phenomenon and in which the need to take concrete actions to prevent disasters is most urgent.
