Despite 2006 Downturn, Forecaster Expects High Hurricane Activity in 2007

The 2007 Atlantic hurricane season will be more active than the average season according to forecasts published Friday by the The Tropical Meteorology Project. The authors estimate that 2007 will have about 7 hurricanes and 14 named storms.
