If you felt a disturbance in the force this morning, you werent alone. Early this a.m., an allegedly stolen Gemballa Mirage GT was used to smash into several parked cars in the Hells Kitchen neighborhood of New York City before finally coming to a crumpled halt just past the Javits center.
Its unclear why the rampage occurred, but lets pour one out for the poor Porsche Carrera GT thats under all that bodywork.
It isnt known what occurred to cause the driver to crash, or who the driver was as the NYPD hasnt released those details.
Though, if we had to guess as to why the crash occurred, it wouldnt surprise us if it was due to the Mirage GTs 650 horsepower, or the base Carrera GTs notoriously snappy demeanor.
Based on the video below taken by an onlooker, after the initial crash, with the left front wheel partially hanging off the side of the car, and pieces of carbon fiber splintering everywhere, the driver reverses and speeds off down the street.
