One person was rushed to the hospital Saturday afternoon after an SUV slammed into a store in Brooklyn. Authorities say it happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Bargainland Discount Center near the corner of Fulton Street and Throop Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Surveillance video obtained exclusively by CBS2 shows a store worker tidying up when the white SUV comes barreling through the front window. Store manager Mahammad Safi told CBS2’s Dave Carlin he’s grateful his employee wasn’t hurt. “At that moment, that’s when the car crashed through. And I thank God a million times he wasn’t there,” he said.
