Eastern Pacific Gets 1st Tropical Storm
Tuesday, May 30th, 2006 Catastrophe PropertyAletta, the first tropical storm of the eastern Pacific season, was moving slowly westward Monday afternoon, about 120 miles south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Aletta’s winds weakened to about 40 mph, and the storm is expected to continue its westward track away from land.
