Florida woman sets fire to car at gas station, claims to be ’God’

A West Palm Beach woman who proclaimed she was "God" doused her car with gasoline and set it on fire at a Daytona Beach gas station Wednesday, police said. Daytona Beach police said Alexandra Barnes used a lighter to ignite her car, which she had doused with gasoline minutes earlier. After dousing her car, Barnes initially entered the BP station, walked behind the counter, grabbed a cigarette lighter and walked back outside, police said. An employee followed her out and took the lighter from her. She repeatedly told him she had to "get out of here," police said.
