Gator bites worker at Orlando International Airport

An alligator grabbed a landscape worker by the leg at Orlando International Airport Wednesday. Florida Fish and Wildlife says Philip Letner, 50, was weed wacking the edge of the lake near Cargo Road when the gator came out of the lake and bit him. Another worker came to Letner’s aid, as the gator went back into the lake. Letner was taken Orlando Regional Medical Center for lacerations to one of his legs.
