Helping cars ’talk’ with one another goal of Connected Vehicle Proving Center in Ann Arbor

Someday, cars could come standard with a device to help drivers avoid collisions at intersections by electronically sensing other cars that might be in the way. And in the future, if a patch of road developed particularly bad potholes, internal computers in cars driving over them might send information directly to a central system to let road crews know.
