Hurricane Adrian Whacks El Salvador

Hurricane Adrian slammed into El Salvador late Thursday, cutting off power and unleashing heavy rains in an area prone to severe flooding and is expected to bring a large amount of rainfall to the country on Friday. Over 14,000 people were evacuated as the hurricane struck the country becoming the first Pacific hurricane to ever strike El Salvador and the first hurricane of the 2005 Season.
