Hurricane experts predict three big storms for October

That’s according to the forecast issued Wednesday by Philip Klotzbach and William Gray, longtime Atlantic hurricane trackers based at Colorado State University. "Our October-only forecast calls for 3 named storms, 2 hurricanes [and] 1 major hurricane," they write on a document posted on the CSU Web site.
