IIAA Posts Industry Resource Web Page On Terrorist Attacks
Thursday, September 20th, 2001 Catastrophe TechnologyThe Independent Insurance Agents of America's Virtual University has established an insurance industry resource page to explain the insurance implications of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington D.C. "We are temporarily replacing the Virtual University home page with this special edition," announced William C. Wilson Jr., director of the Alexandria, Va.-based association's Virtual University. In response to the many questions people are asking agents in the wake of last week's events, Virtual University has been re-designed to be a source of information on issues stemming from the attack, said Mr. Wilson. The site's "Ask an Expert" service will supply agents with guidance to properly assist their clients, he said.
