It stands to reason, then, that the most successful and productive workers will enjoy what they are doing because they are skillful at it. It is also safe to assume that the more skillful they are, the more successful and productive they will be. In fact, an entire industry, corporate training, has grown up around the simple truth that workers who feel knowledgeable about their jobs are more successful, more satisfied, and tend to stay at jobs longer than those who do not.
