Insurance-claims processor to expand, add 225 jobs in Orlando

One of the country’s largest insurance-claims processing companies plans to expand in Central Florida, adding 225 jobs at a new call-center operation in east Orlando, the company said Thursday. Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. plans to spend nearly $1.3 million to establish the new 30,000-square-foot facility, which will increase its employment over the next three years. The Memphis-based company said it will expand its existing operations in Central Florida; it has had a call-center facility in Lake Mary since the mid-90s.
