Internet: Online Claims Handling
Monday, March 12th, 2001 TechnologyInsurers have begun to provide for online filing of first notice of loss by policyholders. While this use of the Internet may not have attracted as much media attention as has online purchasing of insurance, of these two Internet initiatives, it may have a greater, longer lasting impact on insurer operations, and should be closely watched.
