Mansion party: ’People were climbing up ladders and smashing windows’

It was the party to which few were invited, but hundreds showed up anyway. A huge Brampton home in a plush neighbourhood near Goreway Dr. and Mayfield Rds. became the centre of a massive house party after word of a "monster mansion party" went viral on Twitter Friday night (May 2). Up to 2,000 people are thought to have shown up at the house. Police sent 60 cars — including canine and tactical units — to the still-under-construction home on Stanley Carberry Dr. after receiving a complaint around 9:30 p.m.
