Miami mail carrier attacked by two dogs

A mail carrier is recovering in the hospital after being attacked by two dogs. Emogene Powell was delivering the mail when a resident’s dogs jumped the fence and attacked her, reports CBS station WFOR-TV in Miami. Witnesses say two good Samaritans driving by saved her. "She was bleeding and bleeding and I called 911," said Michelle, the woman who lives across the street from the attack. Residents say Powell is known in the neighborhood as the "singing mail carrier." She is only a year away from retirement.
