Millions Of Americans Have Lost Doctors Because Of Liability Fears

A recent poll finds that ten percent of all Americans have lost their doctors to either retirement or relocation because of the constant threat of high priced lawsuits and increasing medical malpractice premiums. The poll also found that 48 percent of those polled blame high malpractice insurance premium costs for the loss of their family physician or specialist while only 8 percent cited medical error as the main reason.
