Mounties hitch ride with snowmobiler to chase stolen tractor

File this arrest under "Only in Canada." While investigating a break-and-enter and theft of firearms, Alberta Mounties wound up chasing a stolen tractor on a snowmobile. About 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Blackfalds RCMP were called to a rural address east of Red Deer, Alta., where firearms and other items were allegedly stolen during a break and enter. At about 5 p.m., they received a call about a stolen tractor.
