M&S/Boeckh Acquires Data from TRR
Wednesday, April 17th, 2002 TechnologyMarshall & Swift/Boeckh, a New Berlin, Wis.-based provider of building cost data and estimating services to the property insurance industry, has acquired the contents data from Total Research & Replacement (TRR), a 20-year-old full-service contents replacement firm and data provider headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. MS/B noted that through the acquisition, it is now the sole provider of TRR contents data. MS/B will provide the data in conjunction with its IntegriClaim property loss estimating system. By integrating TRR's contents database into IntegriClaim, MS/B creates a single source for building cost and contents data that is readily accessible by the field and desk adjuster. Bob Crine, president of MS/B, pointed out, "A key advantage of TRR's data is the ability to locate historical items and relate those items to modern Like Kind and Quality (LKQ) equivalents.
