Natural catastrophe insured losses hit $38B: Analysis

Natural catastrophes this year have resulted in global insured losses of $38 billion, according to a report issued Thursday. The “Annual Global Climate and Catastrophe Report” by Aon Benfield, a unit of Aon Corp., found that found there were 314 separate events during 2010, far higher than the previous three years.
