
A 29-year-old man from Dover, New Hampshire, was arrested after leading deputies on a 43-minute chase while wearing a cowboy hat, boots and a womans dress in a car painted with derogatory statements about law enforcement, officials said. Aaron S. Jansen was arrested Saturday morning in Salina after a high-speed chase. A deputy clocked Jansen driving faster than 90 mph, authorities said. Jansen was able to drive around spikes that were set up at the junction of Interstate 70 and Highway 81. He eventually drove into a soybean field and drove in circles for 40 minutes while officers set up a perimeter around the field, deputies said. Jansen threw blankets, CDs and other items out of the car.
